"I can't believe you talked me into this," (Y/N) mumbled.
"I'm very gifted at persuasion." Envy crossed his arms. "Ready."
"Edward."
"On it." He shapeshifted into the young alchemist. "Next?"
"Ling."
"Done."
"Scar."
"Done."
"Why are we doing this again? Oh yeah, you're a huge showoff." (Y/N) rolled her eyes.
"Oh, come on!" Envy switched back to default. "You don't find it even a little cool?!"
"I believe I said one time that I don't give a shit about most things," she deadpanned.
"Oh...right." He rubbed his head. "Hmm..."
"What happened to everyone?" she asked.
"They all escaped. Except for Ling, as you know..." He smirked. "In a way."
"Wait, what? I didn't see, I don't know! What happened?!" She grabbed the front of his shirt.
"Calm down, he's alive!" He yanked away. "He's just become a new Homunculus."
"Really?" Her eyes lit up. "That's cool!"
"Eh..." He sucked in air through his teeth. "The idiot came to your country to get a Philosopher's Stone, right?" She nodded. "Well, it's in his bloodstream now. He's not Ling anymore, though. His body's been taken over by Greed. He's trapped inside himself, basically."
"Greed?! But he's dead!"
"Not anymore. This is a different Greed, not the same one from before. No previous memories."
"Did someone call my name?"
(Y/N) slowly turned around. "HOLY SHIT!" She fell off the bed with a scream.
"Hey!" Envy knelt down to help her up. "Why?!"
"Ling..." She shook her head.
"Wrong." 'Ling' stepped over. "It's Greed now. You know, Homunculus?"
"How'd you get in?!" she demanded.
"The window." He pointed to it.
"What are you going here, Greed?!" Envy hissed.
"Followed you here last night. Nice girl you have there." Greed gestured to her.
"Touch her and you DIE!" he shouted.
"Scary. Sure wouldn't want our Father to know about this, would we?" He pretended to look thoughtful. "Especially if she knows anything about the plan..."
"Know about what plan?" (Y/N) asked innocently.
"Eh?" Greed gave her a curious look.
"What does Ling mean, Enfys? There's no such thing as Homunculi, right? And again, what plan?" she continued.
"He's just saying nonsense," Envy replied, catching on quickly.
"So she doesn't know ANYTHING?" Greed sighed. "Ling's gone, kid. Plain and simple, that's all you need to know. And there's no plan. Goodnight." He jumped out the window.
"Visit again soon, Ling!" (Y/N) slammed the window shut. "Holy-"
"-crap." Envy exhaled softly. "That was close."
"No kidding." She locked the window. "I can't believe I got mixed up in this."
"I warned you." He crossed his arms behind his head.
"Yeah, yeah, I know. Envy? Is Führer Bradly a Homunculus?"
"How'd you know?"
"I figured that since all that stuff was under Central, some higher-up probably wasn't what they seemed to be. I guess I was right." (Y/N) looked proud of herself.
"You're so smart, really." Envy ruffled her hair. "Good human."
"I'm not a dog," she giggled.
"Talking back to me? Bad human," he whispered, making her shudder. "Better?"
"Y-yeah..." She looked away quickly. "Ah, what were we doing?"
"I was showing off my abilities as you insulted me," he huffed. "You sure have a mouth on you."
"Right back at ya." She smiled evilly.
"Take that back, human." Envy tackled her to the bed. "Or I'll do something really evil."
"Slash my tires?" (Y/N) stuck out her tongue.
"You smartass. No, something worse." He leaned down.
"Yeah?" She gazed at him through half-lidded eyes.
"Yeah." He licked his lips.
"Like what?" She grinned as he faltered a bit.
"I'm working on it," he muttered.
"Palm tree." She smacked him on the head and got up. "Move over, I'm hungry."

Chapter 5 Walk Around the Block
Later (y/n) wanted to go for a walk to get her to relax and take her mind about…well you know. She walked for awhile, and ended up walking a little farther than her knowing of directions. She trotted into in between a couple apartments because she thought it was a shortcut to her block, but it wasn’t. It was a dead end so she turned around to go and take the long way but a man came running into the alley. He had tattoos drawn all over his right arm.
“I heard you were getting involved with alchemy and with the one they call Fullmetal? The man said. (Y/n) chose not to answer but instead run.
